He's My Freind

This place is lone

in our world

sand and sky

Distractions furled

Our world is harsh

peoples dark

their eyes clouded

blank, no Spark

My eyes snap open

blindingsun

thewindcutsthrough

Ravaging breaths stun

Air grates down

mythroatmylungs

mybeatingcenter

where Hope clung

My sole salvation

lays near me

its words refresh

my soul flys free

This one last book

ancient's tome

holding heaven

bringing me home

Tis not over

whisp’d pages

Tis not done

said sages

Tis not time

say’th sky

Tis not you

sand ver’fy

Tis now

Tis I

Say’th Hope

Say’th Savoir

Say’th Friend
