He's My Inspiration

Every day is new, every day is beautiful.

Every day was created to be used for something wonderful. 

But somehow, some way, 

People find a way to spoil our day. 

There are some who don’t know 

The one who made us to live and grow.

Why live your life down in the dumps

When you can praise Him and get out of your slump?  

If you have faith in God above, 

Even in dark times, you will learn to have love. 

I find my life’s inspiration in Him 

He knows me in and out; He is here to help me win. 

He inspires me every day to be good 

Because in a world like this, who else would? 

Even when no one else is kind,

I remain standing strong, knowing he will not leave me behind. 

At the end of our days and when time is done, 

There is a goal to be reunited with the Son.  

I want to be up there with the one and only; 

He is the reason I am never lonely. 

To get to heaven, we must all obey 

Everything He ordered us to do and say. 

So farewell my friends, I’ll see you in the end 

When we are all together with our one true friend.
