He's There Without You

He’s There Without You

Where were you?

When I felt all the pain

Where were you?

Were you hiding in your solace?

Were you running from my side?

While I was in my misery

There was no one to be found

Not even one to care

Or so I thought

Until he came to save me

To take me to the light

To calm the stormy night

He was there

With nobody else to be found

When I hit my head and fell

When my shame covered my pride

He was there, by my side

He took me from my ache

Filled my cup and blessed me so

Picked me up, a lonely vessel

Stopped all the terror of the dark

Star of Bethlehem, O’ Holy Night

I prayed, o’ God, thank you for your Son

I was lost without and now am found

Down and out, but becoming strong

With His Word I Am Healed

His Blessings that Shall Grace All Who Bear His Name

That Grace that is Perfection

Perfection through his Blood

The Salvation, Redemption proceeding from it

When I hurt, I remember him

When I’m in the fire, I’m protected

And through the sacrifice, brought eternal life

As I go into the shadows of despair

I Take God as My Light

His burden to bear for me

As we walk Through the Land Together We Shall Rejoice

For He Has Found You My Friend

And Though You Hid for A While

You Were Never Lost

For If All Is Seen by Him

Then Where Could You Go?

I See You’re Hurting Too

A Bandage and Limp

On Your last leg wondering, why?

Pleading for an answer

You must but listen and go

He shall lead, and you follow

Let heaven take you home
