Hesitation

Hesitating, she stands

On the edge

A sharp cliff with jagged rocks

Crashing laughter of waves below

The mockery is enough

She turns to see the others

Huddled in their caves

One after another wishing

Hands wrapped, eyes dripping

But it's that last

Pushing off

Facing the punishment

She soars
