Hesitation

Do you know that feeling?

Of stillness and silence,

Of pause and panic.

The thoughts, words

Not coming to mind 

Or out of your mouth

A person like me knows

The issues that come with

Not communicating well

Or speaking out loud

Or even ideas not connecting right 

But at least I try to talk

To take a chance

To make a memory

Even if it failed 

Or didn’t not go to plan
