Hestia's Kitchen Rhyme

My name is Hestia and I love the hearth

No one can hold a cooking class like mine on the Earth

I am a modest girl who loves the home

When I cook and clean I am in the zone

I’m good at hosting parties, galas, and more

Don’t bring any unnecessary conflict to my front door

People say I’m too quiet, shy, and reserved

But I don’t need to speak to be heard

My name is Hestia and I love the hearth

I was an Olympian Goddess by birth

Maybe I shouldn’t have given the throne to my brother

But my siblings annoy me

So let them fight each other

People worship me for protecting their homes

They bow at my flames, and praise my name

I’ve never been married or had any brats

Babies are cute, but who wants to deal with all that?

Poseidon and Apollo both wanted to marry me

But whoever I didn’t pick would turn against me

My name is Hestia and I love the hearth

I liked being invisible on Earth

Before you say in History Class how I am so boring

Just remember, if it wasn’t for me

Your family wouldn’t be so tight-knit if I hadn’t been so green
