Hey, Hey, You, You, I Don't Like Your-

Dear whatever part of Me that decided on You,

I know

I don’t know

You.

But

I see the pictures-

Your pictures.

And

I just can’t help it.

Nobody shows my body

In those

Body image positivity

posts.

But I see myself

In you.

I feel my shape,

with every single move

You make.

You ask "Why

the empty plate?"

I would eat

But I’m all out of proportions

You ask "Why

the weighted blanket?"

Because no one will hold me.

The string is invisible,

But I endure the incessant tug

Every second of every hour.

A crush?

Yes.

And my bones break under the weight.
