Hey me!

Dear me, how are you doing

I wonder if you’ve got trouble brewing

Are you worried, are you scared

Of all the people that don’t really care

Do you still stay up late, just to pass the time

Putting off the needed sleep

Perhaps others would think it a crime

That I never counted sheep

Do you dream of fantasy

All the things you’ll never be

Brave and bold

And hopes untold

Do you ever lay awake

In the morning, before daybreak

Waiting for the alarm to sound

A new day about to go down
