Hey Mister

Haven't seen you in two years
How do I know if I don't hear
How you're doin' and whats the deal
I need you now most of all

It's already 1863
Been a year since you wrote me
How's the war and can you see
I'm not gonna be around infinitely

This nuisance makes for distant conversation
Loses the bind we had to make
I want to let you in again
Aren't you alone in all of this
Everybody loses, we all got bruises
We all got bruises

Is he hurting, I don't know
How bout him, he wouldn't show
They're on teams fighting patiently
Waiting for their call to come home

Hey Mister, guess who I just saw
Remember David B, remember we were dating practically
I cannot do this again, two years is that what its been
I'll miss you 'till the day I die
Leaving you makes me wanna cry

I don't want to be away from you
I would love to kiss you too
Please don't be afraid whatever you do

Everybody loses
We all got bruises
