Hey Music

Hey music, did you know that you’re the greatest friend I’ve ever had?

You’re there for me when I’m happy and you’re there when I’m sad.

Hey music, did you know that you’re sweet?

The way your melodies move me, and your harmonies’ discrete.

Hey music, you never get old

You’ve told many tales but your stories are gold.

Hey music, you’re up and you’re down

But since you’ve been here for me, you know I’ll always be around.

Hey music, you affect me so

To the point where I love you, more than you’ll ever know.

Hey music, you’re my savior and guide

My ego, my conscience, my heart and my mind.

Hey music, this isn’t the end

Because through it all, you’re always my friend.
