Hey! Teach!

I don't need to learn about extra work, I know it rough out there, and life's full of jerks. Five-page essays, chapters to read, fine! Hey Teach, yours is not my only class And your busywork's become a real pain in the ass! Assignments due one day then the next, Half your students confused, you vexed Don't yell at us for assignments missed. Hey Teach, make up your mind, You're not the only one pissed! Ask a friend in class a question, No one's comfortable asking you. It's not a crime that deserves a trip to the office. Hey Teach, thank God execution's not at your discretion! A cell phone call from my Dad, not my fault Okay, okay, I did text a friend, my bad! But seize my phone like NSA, Cut off, cornered and tamed the rest of the day, You're not a predator, I'm not your prey. Hey Teach, treat me like an adult!!
