Hey There Anxiety
What does it take? Too much of this, too much of that? And what does
This make? More of a mess, more or less, and to what, do,
I owe the pleasure,
Anxiety? Thanks again once again but,
When will you be put to rest?
Oh,
Look,
Thanks anxiety, now I'm depressed I've
Tried. My best, you see, anxiety. But you always get the best of me.
I wake up anxiety, but, why should I get dressed? I just don't have the interest. There's nothing
That I've missed. Is there anything more than this? Can there be bliss at the end of this long road?
That "it's gonna get better" that leaves me cold,
And deep in this melancholy hole. But Yes! I have friends, some young and some old. That
Have been handed more shit than I will ever hold
But when I tell them what I'm thinking, and that my mind is sold,
They tell me that these feelings, these thoughts are going to mold themselves into something
So beautiful and gold, and shiny, and
Oh! How I'll finally know that sensation, that feeling so bold, that all my broken pieces, they bend and they fold and turn me back to my original goal
Happyness, but beware! Good things don't last. That’s what I've always been told
But hey there anxiety! Can you leave me alone? Id like to be peaceful, live gently and full
Something wrong with this poem?
