Hey, You
She sits alone at night
She wonders, "will I ever be more?"
Her whole family roots for her, but their support can't hide the defeatist that lingers in their eyes
"It will all pay off," she thought
"I am going to get out of here, I will be more," she told herself every night
She does what she's supposed to, she is her biggest supporter and she is determined to succeed
At night, she dreams of the life she will live one day
She envisions her future because she is the only one capable of doing so
"One day, I will be able to buy my mother the nicest things that she passed up in order to support me"
"One day, my father won't wonder where our next meal will come from, I will give him the finest of feasts"
The passion behind her drive is not only for herself, but for the ones who never gave up on her even when she wanted to give up on herself
Because she still has hope in this world for the better, she will make it a better place in whatever she does
She is grace, she is sophistication, she is hope for our future
