Hidden Behind the Smile

I've seen things no one would ever know.

The smile on my face will never let it show.

I've seen love, happiness, and laughter.

I've seen helpless, homeless, and disaster.

I've seen hopefull eyes wishing for another day.

I've seen lives ending so the pain will go away.

I've seen pain, misery, and fear.

Ive seen people risking ir all for another beer.

I've seen want, wishing, and desire.

I've seen lives seemingly on fire.

I've seen a baby soft and new;

I hope it wont see the worlds red and blue.
