Hidden beneath
A beautiful young woman entered the Inn
Everyone in the room couldn’t help but grin
Her blue eyes and white teeth sparkled in the light.
Her favorite type of man was a handsome night
Sometimes you could find her in a private den
Completely surrounded by handsome strong men
Many were envious of her alluring looks
Surprisingly her favorite thing was to read books
Attractive, coy, and clever all in one
Her heart never seemed to be able to be won
Her laugh was like a harmonious song
I could listen to it all day long
She reminded me of my first young love
My love that is now in heaven above
An aroma of cherry blossoms danced off her skin
It covered her desperation that reeked from within
