Hidden Beneath a Smile

Happiness is seen in my smile Laughing and playing is my lifestyle Life goes on day by day With me barely knowing what to say I bring joy and love to all who surround me For I do not want to burden them badly If they could see what lies within Something beneath that happy grin The nights are long like a blank white canvas With thoughts that paint my ceiling monstrous The sun peers in with jeering eyes Mocking the routine once more implied The choice is mine to keep on going Or to just give up and keep on snoring But once again I must abide And keep the sorrow kept inside Spread a sweet sincere smile And hope no one can see through it meanwhile To the world all is well But what I yearn for is one last farewell My heart mourns for the joy of tomorrow But my smile is an umbrella that covers my sorrow But all of this can fray away All you need to do is know what to say Use your smile for something good Its something many often should Brighten up someone else's day By smiling and saying good day ...it can make a big difference to just give someone joy with your small king gesture, so make sure to smile :)
