Hidden Feelings

Hidden feelings deep inside,

tearing me apart as I try to hide,

even though others may look.

I weave them into poems in this book,

I keep on hiding the pain,

seeping through like rain,

at times I crack,

and I can not hold back,

the flood of emotions pouring through,

out of me and into the room,

before I can plug up the leak,

I have finally reached the peak,

of my limits and I can handle no more,

I feel as though I’m about to wash up on insanity's shore,

as I try to fight,

out goes the light,

and I am thrust deeper into anxiety’s pit,

with each way I turn and each action I take I am bit,

I am lost,

I can’t get out,

I am going insane.
