Hidden Hurt

Why do you tear me down ?

When all I do is build you up

Why do hate me ?

Why do you deny my touch ?

Is it from the abuse of your father ?

You call me names

And say I am the one to blame

It is all my fault

I deserve a verbal assault

Not a bruise on my body

Only scars on my heart

I am alone

I am a cheater, a liar

And when all I am is a crier

You say I am not faithful

But it is our relationship that is not stable

                                                              I do not deserve this

I am a good person

Let us try a kiss

To release my burden

When will you stop

Stop the arguments that mean nothing

I am tired,worn out

I can not go on knowing I am not on top

I want to mean more than the hands you place around my neck

The objects that drives me away from you

Does it mean that much to you that you have to see all

You can lose before something means more

I love you with all my heart and soul

But I am tired

Tired of walking around with scars

When you are the one who needs them

You have to know my every move

But what do you do for me

I do not ask for much

Just asking why
