A Hidden Sun

The Sun's warmth

Tries to shine through

The harsh, distant clouds

That the world created around it.

Stuggling to break through them,

But in the background,

The moon stays always watching.

When the moon comes out,

The Sun stays hidden behind its shadow,

Waiting for a chance to show its warmth, but afraid to...

The Sun doesn't want to be attacked anymore,

All the Sun wants is to show its warmth,

Like it was meant to.
