The Hidden Treasure

It started in 5th grade All I wanted to do was play Football was my game And writing was so very lame Oh Mrs. Thompson, how I despised her So spitefully I decided to write her a letter I told her how writing was such a bore And that I would rather throw balls and watch them soar I explained that writing was just not for me And that a football player was who I wanted to be I ended by telling her that I would still try That is if I did't die I cleverly left the letter nearby She slowly picked it up and started to cry I knew the words were harsh but was it that brutal Now my legs were turning into noodles Oh why, Oh why was she making such a scene I don't want everyone in the class to think I'm mean Now she's approaching I'm in for it now I can tell by the way she looking I just might have a cow Everyone is watching As she walks out the room Now everyone is talking I'm headed for my doom Three more teachers appear Now I'm trembling with fear The principal walks in and everyone decideds to pause Then he starts ….
