Hidden Treasure Chest (Villianelle)
Reopening this hidden treasure chest
Treasure not of riches but of rareness
Holding all my worst and bits of my best
Ages Under lock and key, put to rest
Torturous to hide-behold carelessness
Reopening this hidden treasure chest
Hoping for clarity to manifest
Struggling just to breathe in this breathlessness
Holding all my worst and bits of my best
Unable to provide readers digest
Not to mistake rawness with bitterness
Reopening this hidden treasure chest
In the end, I am nothing but a guest
My head and chest a mess and nothing less
Holding all my worst and bits of my best
I hope not to leave myself unexpressed
As if an artist with a blank canvas
Reopening this hidden treasure chest
Holding all my worst and bits of my best
