The Hidden Truth

Standing absolutely still, big, and tall in their dull surroundings they wait patiently for their next victim sterile, shining silver table tops, stationary platforms as white as virtue, and mobile arms anticipate adjustment. Lonely, like the long descent to nothingness until accompanied by the next poor soul that cautiously walks through the door anxiously analyzing the scene before them. After being propped and settled the room is suddenly overwhelmed by just about complete darkness. Not knowing what to expect next antagonized by the somberness, the agitating anticipation arrives and then like a rainstorm, thunder’s roar conquers the silence and the fast flash of cameras form a luminous glow. The smile on your face can no longer protect the fact that you’re broken inside. In a matter of seconds they see right through you when no one else can and decipher all that’s been hidden from the world. And the worst part is, there’s not a thing you can do about it feeling helpless wondering what’ll be divulged.
