Hidden Truth

Why can I not find

the words locked inside my mind?

(The truth that wants to break free).

Truth of this facade,

that my life’s a masquerade.

(The truth hidden inside me).

Words of my sorrow,

my wish of no tomorrow.

(The truth longing to break free).

A seeker of light

trapped within an endless night.

(The truth lying within me).
