Hide and Seek

You were so distant.

Where did you go?

I wanted to seek you

and your love sick soul.

You said you were scared

of what's in the dark.

I told you that I'm here,

and I'm not going far.

It was a game

that needed life and heart.

I wanted to seek

but you were just too far.

Yes, it's a game

for the young and the weak.

But it's a game

called hide and seek.
