hide and seek

a mind is frail

a mind is weak

a mind can learn

a mind can seek

when we're lost

our mind can guide

our mind can glow

our mind can hide

how does it hide you ask ?

behind the blinds of insecurity and fear

which grasps control of ones life and will and drive

controlled by lies

evidently dismantled lying in a pool of tears

oh, but the mind can grow

it can perceive

oh, it can know

it can deceive

but the mind is rich

rich in not money or power but knowledge

money nor power can change a will, a love or a mind

but a mind with knowledge can soar

it can soar oh so high

so high

higher than the clouds can see

higher than where the heavens and angels meet

therefore a mind with knowledge doesn't hide

it doesn't weep

a curious mind can't hide because it seeks
