Hiding

Sitting in the closet,

Scared to open the door.

All alone,

Having the pain scream.

Closing my teary eyes,

Dreaming of acceptance.

To open them,

Thinking of the judgment.

Secrets are told,

Turning to rumors.

Wanting me to act,

Like someone I'm not.

Keeping the screams in,

Letting the tears fall out.

Breaking down,

Wishing for a choice.

Feelings are forever known,

Never to change.

Living a life full of misery,

To act ''Normal.''

Choosing my life,

To have these feelings.

Finally coming to the world,

At the top of my lungs.

"I'M DIFFERENT!"
