Hiding From Nothing

Hiding From Nothing

At this moment I am unable to decide my fate.

All my love turned into hate.

I just have one thing that not all can understand.

Something I could have never planned.

Thinking of my whole youth and hiding away.

A challenge day by day.

Years gone by and things are getting clearer.

I am finally accepting the person in the mirror.

Acceptance for myself was definitely the biggest step.

It took me a couple years to prep.

My family and friends took it better than me.

Finally I am completely free.

As life got better, yet another thing went right.

The person of my dreams that I only seen at night.

Magically appeared in my reality.

As time went on I learned how to be happy.

This person takes me from the moon and back.

So much great times, I can’t even track.

Even when things got rough and we had to worry.

We never took a moment to rush or hurry.

This may not even be the person I am going to marry.

But we have so much amazing memories to carry.

One thing for sure is that our love comes with adversities.

But she’s the one who helped me open my heart to what really matters.

A “little different” should not keep you from loving.

Thank god I found her, or all my life I would be hiding from nothing.
