Hiding the Tears

Rain may hide the tears But it can’t mask the pain in your eyes You want to stay strong But it’s easier to break down Truth hurts But it’s better than lies You want to move on But doubt fills your mind People seem to care But do they really? You are dying for the rainbow But it feels like the storm will never end When will the “buts” end? Rain can only hide the tears
