Hiding Words

My words hide in my throat where I choke on them.

They usually don't come out,

sometimes they sit on the tip of my tongue waiting

for a chance to spill out,

but they can't, they never get a chance to.

Instead they go down to the deepest places of my mind

and sit there waiting.

Just waiting for a chance to be spoken.
