High
High.
High up I look down and see.
Really see.
See everything.
I feel so separate.
I am no longer a part of that.
Any of that.
I like it.
I love it.
I get to see.
See it all at once.
But it all slows down for me.
Everything.
Reversal of roles.
I get to see what it’s like on the other side.
I look up and try to remember what it was like to fear what was between me and the ground.
Nothing.
In one instance I have lost all control, I am forced to put all my control in you at once.
In one instance I have all the control. You are forced to trust me. Give me everything you have.
Two extremes.
Incredible.
Incredible.
I have never dreamed of such feelings.
But they are welcome.
They are enjoyed.
Stared at in wonder and awe.
They will be mourned.
Until next time.
