High Expectations

I guess you can say Im one of those girls who fell too quick. I needed someone to pick me up when I was down and make me feel like Im not about to drown

I expected so much from you. . . .  I expected too much from you, that all I can do is nothing

I should have known from the start that you were toxic but I was blinded by love because all I needed was a hug

A relationship is 50/50. I give and you give. Was it really that hard to do your part ?

All I wanted was to feel special and loved.

All I wanted was to be happy and stress-free.

All I wanted was you.

I wanted you to communicated with me better. Let me know what was wrong and what was right, instead of leaving plain and out of sight.

I wanted to trust you, of course that was easily broken.

I sit here and think what am I going to do. I gave my all and received nothing in return. I suppose that's what happens when you have high expectations.

I thought you knew to care, love, hold, be honest, and most importantly be supportive.

I wanted an healthy relationship where I can be genuinely happy knowing you love me too.
