The High, The Mighty
You look down on me. come on, I know you do.
Always have. Always will.
But, where were you?
What about the hospital? the beeps, an empty bed.
Every insecurity and change.
The doubt that's been living at home in my head!
but you've decided, you know my hearts pain.
I love this family and resent my life.
For two years, it's been me!
smiling through a twisting knife.
If you're so high and mighty, why can't you see what I see?
