High School
High school days,
These are some of the best of our lives.
We are young, oblivious to what is to come
As we approach adulthood. Waking up at 7 a.m.
Texting my friends, while I'm brushing my teeth
Check the time it's 8:45 time to begin my 7 hour day.
I arrive at school greeted by the bell,
Sitting in class waiting for the time to pass.
Daydreaming about life after school,
Chilling with my friends, trying to find out if anyone knows what this teacher is even talking about
When lunch time is finally here
We trample over one another, even though we know the stuff they feed us
Ain't even real
The end of the day is approaching,
We've gone through thhe teacher who doesn't teach,
The one who everyone loves, the one who everyone hates,
And the one who you wonder how much is this dude smoking?
Then there is the one teacher love her or hate her
She's the one everyone should role model themselves afer
The final bell rings, everyone rushes out the door
To their buses
To their cars
To their practice for the sport they love.
These are the days we will remember for the rest of our lives.
Chillin' at the ball games, getting away from our parents,
What could be better than this?
We may not realize it now,
But life doesn't get any easier than this.
