High School

Though it may be funny

Though it may be great

Though it may bring flurries of undebated hate

Everyone goes to high school

Even though it is not cool

And the easy life of children

Is lost to the silly fool

Hundreds of thousands do it

It is not a grave mistake

But to stop it all from coming

Is simply not our fate

High school is the gulf of learning

Where children become adults

With high school comes a yearning

Of all the "do's" and "don'ts"

But even if you like it

Even if you don't

High school is the brink  of

The unavoidable result
