High School

It all started when you went to high school

Everything was chill, cool, it was all new

You later figured out that it was not what it seemed

The hustle and bustle, it was all like the streets

But nevermind that, lets get back to the school

The one that helped you realize that you weren't so cool

It was all about the dreams and the goals you make of it

Not the chains or the dollars that you just went and spent

When I first started high school I came in with the mind set that social status is all that mattered. I later figured out through my teachers, counselor, and myself that high school is to expand your learning and find out what you can with your life. Of course that is what college is for but high school is the first step.
