High School

The start of the journey is tough It reeks of insecurity and overwhelming emotions Who will I be? Only time will tell Yet, each year goes by faster than the last People you once knew become strangers Strangers become family You grow every day You make mistakes You have triumphs The ups and downs make you who you are You made your mark Now it’s time to say goodbye At first you couldn’t wait to leave But, the end of this journey is nothing but bittersweet

Amazing. Perfectly describes every feeling I have felt in high school.
