She was a freshman and she was scared Afraid of new places, how much everyone cared A new experience with old friends A new beginning and a chapter ends Little did she know Life had more in store Then what that little freshman Was ready for Her parents divorced Threw her plan off course Her perfect family expended Her ideal future, her dream, had ended She threw herself into school, friends, and boys Shifted her life to books instead of childhood toys Life had changed, against her will Now she had to find a way to be still She sent her dad away and never looked back Today that girl has her life on track This girl learned a lot, more then she ever knew University of Florida bound, with her future renewed
