High School Is The Best Time Of Your LIfe

High school it’s the best years of your life

Being gay is a crime

But hey who is counting the time

Knew a girl that was 20 pounds too thin yet she skips meals like breathing air

She thought she was fat

Because of a bully who looked like a rat

But we all play fair

Had a friend that won’t graduate because they missed too many days

Mom needed someone to help pay

But it is the best years of your life

Knew a boy who just wanted it all to go away

I tried to beg him to stay

He just really wanted to die

But it’s the best years of your life

Guys don’t cry

Shove it deep down inside

Smiles creep across our faces wide

No one is allowed ever to ask why

Scars that decorate our arms like sleeves

Red angry skin that dances on our skin

Left with no time to grieve

Our pain is their victory, their win

But’s the best years of our lives
