High School Life

Bright sunshine on the hot concrete boiling my thoughts as if life wasn't even in me.

The school bell rings as a dim, yet vivid tone.

My heart is pounding and I can't seem to understand why. My first day of high school. Haha?

An expression of what I feel is timeless, but my reaction is in the time thereof. Walking in a hallway of dispare.

The stench of depression and sarcasm bouncing off the walls as if it was made that way.

But was it? See my question is simply impossible to understand. Was I there to continue an eductaion that was suppose to change my life, or to absorb that stench that was stuck in the hallway walls?

Was I there to be great and fulfill the purpose of my life. Purpose....? Does anyone even know their purpose, or is it a question that is stuck in the back of our minds that mocks us everyday,  every night, everywhere, and everway?

My father always told me that my purpose was to be great. Teach people what is right and lead them in the right path.

I use to ask myself if I did that, but still had that strong stench stuck in my mind wondering if I could ever be true to myself. Wondering if I would still live behind high school walls.
