High School Me

I am tying my shoes Still on the virtual thought A backpack or shoulder bag Well okay, a shoulder bag close to my waist will ease me There will be something to touch me in my walk This is my new walk Caress me and rub me to calm me And grasp me by the shoulder Who is that touching me? It is just my new friend So nice to meet you too And we are left at nothing to chat Maybe I should initiate Arrange your lines properly Silence during the parade All eyes are on me Even that girl probably wondering am such a nerd around My hands sweat more than they are in the car In the car I pictured my new friends My new teachers Perfect first impression I feel so lost Maybe the holiday isn't over This is just a school like any school Except with new classmates That means new friends Who are not the same like my friends The new teacher I cannot try a joke with my teacher Because that's not my teacher Now, bereft I don't know my way to my class
