High School Memories

You wouldn't look at them,
all of their souls,
you had too much power
but nobody knows.
Buried deep
in the dirty pages
of your black journal
mom gave you,
years ago.
It had blood smeared in it
from the day it stuck cold,
when you cried,
There was absolutely
no one you told.
But not fearful,
oh, no, no dear
you already tried that,
so this time you'll hear.
A voice that says'
"It's what you always were..."
