Higher Force Than I

If I had a choice in the course of my life and if I wasn't affected by emotions like love and fear, I might actually be somewhere and left with some rationality, but I am merely a pawn moved by the hands of time, forced by the fingers of fate that control and connect all. And even though I see no space, no place for me in your future, something greater and stronger ties us together. This greater force, more powerful than my emotions, keeps me at your doorstep, waiting and hopeful.
