Four years and who do I know,

Four years and where did the time go.

Stretching into distances of evanescent memories,

gliding past whispers of friends and enemies.

Four years and how things have changed,

Four years and how some have stayed the same.

I stay the hand of Time,

and linger awhile,

                            in my mind,

on this particular mile.
