Highway of Regret

I drift down the highway of regret Pausing once more to reflect As I look back; a solitary tear Finds its way into the wind My heart once alive and beating strong Has turned its back on me Never again to trust a stranger Never again to trust my own heart My choices and mistakes have condemned me Forever to ride alone Forever to pause once more to reflect As I drift down the highway of regret
