Highway robbery

Proverbs 30:5-6

5 Every word of God is purified;
he is like a shield for those who take refuge in him.
6 Do not add to his words,
lest he reprove you, and prove you to be a liar.

I know it is all worth it . . . I guess it’s the way of destiny

Somewhere in my consciousness all of this makes sense

Humanity and plant life searching in ways of prophecy

To figure out what’s coming next and hide in pretense

Professors, paupers, and commoners do travel in time together

Faceless, nameless hand in hand to escape depravity’s stench

Although most are well adjusted to the glamour of sinfulness

as artificial light hides it silently in the pew and on the bench

Phrases of today: “Everybody does it and take all you can get”

Everything is acceptable as in embrace together hugging the curse

God does not what He says, the bible has changed with time

The Lord understands the way I feel as I steal and rob His purse
