hilariously obvlivious

"you're changing

for the worse,"

they said.

"what if i'm

becoming who

i am?" she said.

and they didn't

understand,

so they just

laughed;

while she muttered

to herself,

"what if i was

unaware of my

own mask?"

their puppeteer strings

too delicate to feel sewn into

into my skin.
