For Him

I am so tired

of missing you

the perfect structure of your body

your eyes

and how I want

to swim

in your thoughts

and understand

the mystery

of your wonderful

being.

I am so tired

of wanting the taste of

your lips against mine

our fingers entertwined

to smell your unforgettable

fragrance

close my eyes

and dream of standing

in your essence

forever.

I am so tired

of wanting you to

feel the same way that

I feel

for you.

God please

let me rest.
