Him

His words seem's to linger

While the past begins to fade away

All I hear is him

The protection he provides makes a girl wonder

How could one  survive without him

All I can think about is him

With the hard times knocking at our door one can only see him

A man with an open mind  for the new and not the old

Life to him is seen as a privilege

All I can see is him

A strong , humble and dependent being

Who sees race as a minor thought  and views human beings as a one

All I really need is him
