For Him
He waits in the dark,
But doesn't show his face . . .
All that shows are his Eyes and Hands.
The rest, Shrouded in Darkness
His eyes are like a shark's;
Black and round, a predator's eyes
With hands as cold as ice,
White as the Full Moon
When I pull his cloak,
He takes my wrists and says, "Nay,
You mustn't. Tis' better this way."
When I ask why, he says nothing,
But pulls me into his embrace
I feel his heart beat against my face
His hand strokes my neck
Sending shivers all through my body
His other hand caresses my back
My heart began to race
Not from the cold fear, no
But from antisipation
For I would soon feel his lips
He has but one condition:
I shall not open my Eyes;
For if I see his face
I will be taken from Him
To a place where
We can Never be together again
He touches his lips to my
Forehead, my Eyelids
My Nose, my Cheeks
I wait, kneeling on my bed,
Shaking with longing
For his Lips to reach mine
His hesitation causes
My eyes to flicker a fraction
He clasped his hand over my Eyes
"Nay! You musn't!
Tis' better this way."
Tears fall like an Endless Stream
He Kisses them away,
Whispering
Sweet Nothings in my Ear
But the Silent tears won't stop.
He holds my face in his icy grip
Please don't sry luv.
Your tears are precious,
Do not shed them for me.
But the tears will continue to Fall
They shall not be shed for anyone.
No one, but for Him and Him alone
Even when he has left me,
I will only cry for Him
For his Touch
His Voice
His Kiss
For Him
I love Him,
and he loves Me
