Him
He is mine and I am his.
The day that I met him was the day I could finally live.
He was everything I've ever wanted: kind, generous, and strong.
And though I've never seen him, I know he's beautiful.
People don't want to believe it's true love
because I swear up and down that I need him so much
But it is. It's flawless.
He never wrongs me and believes in me so strongly.
I can honestly do anything, yeah, anything when he's with me.
But being without him is just too risky.
Even a day without him, I'd lose all control.
I need Him in my life because He's my all in all.
They say He's too controlling, but He keeps me safe.
They say He's too demanding but He hears what I have to say.
They are really judgmental and blind to the fact
That yes, He's my brother, but He's much more than that.
The love He has for me is to be shared
In equal portions for them, but they're just too scared.
My dependency on Him is the mix of my love and my trust.
So I need Him in my heart for those He's bound to touch.
I need Him like I love Him
Equally and interchangeably
Through me, the hope is we can prove to them He's never lacked.
And if they ever realize they need Him, He loves them right back.
